Def Leppard is back. The band will be releasing their eleventh studio album on October 30th, 2015. Their new self titled album will be their first release since 2008’s “Songs from the Sparkle Lounge,”  The band has produced the album along with longtime producer Ronan McHugh. It has been stated that the album is a definite representation of the classic Def Leppard sound and is filled with radio friendly hooks that will not disappoint longtime Def Leppard fans. The band is currently on tour throughout the United States.

Def Leppard was formed in 1977. Since the year 1992, the band has consisted of Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals),Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals). Def Leppard have sold more than 100 million records worldwide

Def Leppard’s first album was released in 1980 entitled On Through the Night. The band’s sound would define a decade of 1980s rock and roll. The band’s next three albums. High ‘n’ Dry in 1981, Pyromania in 1983 and Hysteria in 1987 would catapult the band to superstardom. Def Leppard continued on into the 1990s and 2000s releasing the albums Adrenalize in (1992),Slang in (1996),Euphoria in (1999). X  in( 2002).Yeah! in (2006) and Songs from the Sparkle Lounge (2008).

The band Def Leppard was first formed in England. Three of Def Leppard’s bands members first met at school at the Tapton School in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They probably never had a clue what their future held for them.
