New Keith Richards album

On September 18th 2015, the new Keith Richards album Crosseyed Heart. will be released worldwide. This will mark Keith Richard’s third solo album. Remarkably, it has been 23 years since his last solo album was released in 1992 entitled Main Offender. Once again, the album will feature longtime X-Pensive Wino band members, Steve Jordan on drums and Waddy Wachtel on guitars. The album will also feature  special guests Nora Jones, Arron Neville, and the late former Rolling Stones saxophonist Bobby Keys.

Throughout Keith’s career as a member of the Rolling Stones, the guitarist has explored the boundaries between, rock, reggae, country, and blues within his own signature rhythmic guitar sound. On the album “Crosseyed Heart.” he once again defines his nature to embrace all styles and genres throughout the album’s fifteen tracks. Looking forward to this one.

Keith Richards released his first solo album in 1988. Its remarkable that it took Keith Richards that long to release a solo album. In releasit it really was a testament to Keith Richards dedication to the Rolling Stones. It seems it was always Keith Richards that wanted to continue to tour with The Rolling Stones and record new material. The issues was always Mick Jagger. The Rolling Stones lead singer seemed to always be the one to want to venture out on his own. Supposably there were many arguments between Keith Richards and Mick Jagger over taking The Rolling Stones out on the road and recording new music. Nonetheless, just the fact that the band The Rolling Stones does occasionally go out on tour and release new music is better than a complete break up.

In the end , while Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are still alive, we will probably see another return of The Rolling Stones again. There is just too much money to be made for the band if they return to the road. Until then, at least we now have some new music from Keith Richards.
