Our Top 10 Herman’s Hermits Songs list looks at a band from Manchester, England. The band was first formed in 1964. Herman’s Hermits started with a big bang in the United Kingdom, as the first single they ever released, entitled “I’m into Something Good,” went straight to number one. Sadly for the group, it would be the only time the band reached number one on the U.K. charts. However, the band would find considerable success on both sides of the Atlantic with a string of hit albums and successful top 40 singles. They were not on the same level as The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, but they did know how to release addictive pop songs.

Herman’s Hermits was fronted by English singer, songwriter, and actor Peter Noone. The well-versed Englishman was the face and sound of Herman’s Hermits. Throughout his career, both before and after Herman’s Hermits, Peter Noone maintained his celebrity as an actor, singer, and even radio host in the 21st century on Sirius Satellite Radio.

After the success of their debut single, Herman’s Hermits released their first album in 1965, entitled Herman’s Hermits. The band would release six more studio albums after its debut album. The group released Herman’s Hermits on Tour in 1965 in the U.S., Hold On! in 1966 in the U.S., Both Sides of Herman’s Hermits in 1966 in both the U.S. and U.K., There’s a Kind of Hush All over the World in 1967 in both the U.S. and U.K., Blaze in 1967 in the U.S., and Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter in 1968 in both the U.S. and U.K.
