Our Neurosis Albums Discography presents the musical catalog of a groundbreaking band that hails from the West Coast of the United States. Formed in the mid 1980s in the city of Oakland California, the band Neurosis stand as an outlier in the metal music category. The group’s creative original sound took the genre of metal and fused it with varying genres of all metal music to create a sound that very much defined the direction of metal music in the 21st century.
The group was originally founded by musicians  Jason Roeder, Dave Edwardson and Scott Kelly. Eventually they were joined by Chad Salter. The group would go through many personal changes as Chad Sadler would leave the group after only two years.  Steve Von Till would join the band as a guitarist in 1989.
The band Neurosis have released eleven studio albums and counting. We will update this list with every new Neurosis album that is released. In addition to the eleven studio albums, the group has released four live albums and four extended plays. There are also a couple of collaborative albums that the group has also been a part of. The group Neurosis released their first album in 1987 entitled Pain Of Mind. Their most recent studio effort was released in 2016 called Fires Within Fires.
