Our Top 10 Sheryl Crow Christmas Songs list presents ten of our favorite Christmas songs that Sheryl Crow recorded throughout her career. The list contains many songs released on Sheryl Crow’s Home for the Holidays album. Additionally, it includes a few cuts from Christmas specials and compilation Christmas albums. Sheryl Crow first came onto the music scene in 1995 with her smash hit “All I Want to Do,” released on her Tuesday Night Music Club album. Since then, she has become one of the most prominent female pop stars of the past 30 years.

# 10 – Please Come Home for Christmas

This excellent live version of “Please Come Home For Christmas” is opening up our top 10 Sheryl Crow Christmas songs list. The song was written by Charles Brown The performance took place in Washington, D.C., in 2013. One of the most famous versions of “Please Come Home For Christmas” was recorded by the Eagles in 1978.

# 9 – I’ll Be Home for Christmas

Shely Crow released her version of this Christmas Classic on her Home For Christmas album. Kim Gannon penned the song’s lyrics, and the music was composed by Walter Kent and Buck Ram. The song first gained popularity in the 1940s during World War II.  Shely Crow’s touching version pays tribute to all who have come to love this special song.

# 8 – Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

This is a beautiful version that Sheryl Crow filmed herself as a gift for fans. It doesn’t get more genuine and heartfelt than this. She premiered this on Dec 23, 2020. The song was written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane for the 1944 MGM musical “Meet Me in St. Louis.”

# 7 – White Christmas

This Christmas classic, usually done as a ballad, receives Sherly’s excellent swinging rock and roll groove treatment. The song was released on her Home For The Holidays album. The song was initially composed by Irving Berlin in 1940. The song was made famous by Bing Crosby who would make it one of his signature songs.

# 6 – There Is a Star That Shines Tonight

“There Is a Star That Shines Tonight” is a Sheryl Crow original composition released on the Home For Holidays album. It’s a beautiful ballad that proves that excellent new Christmas songs are still being written in the 21st century.

Sherly Crow’s great live version was first seen on the television special A Very Special Christmas Live. The show aired on December 20, 1998. She was joined on stage by Eric Clapton on this song’s performance. Home Run baby!

# 3 – Run Rudolph Run

Sherly Crow’s version of Run Rudolph Rin was released on the A Very Special Christmas 5 album. The album was released on October 30, 2001.”Run Rudolph Run”  was first released in 1958. Johnny Marks and Marvin Brodie wrote it.  Chuck Berry recorded one of the earliest versions of the song. Many artists, including Keith Richards, Bryan Adams, and Luke Bryan, have covered it.

# 2 – The Bells of St. Mary’s

We love Sheryl Crow’s version of “The Bells of St. Mary’s.” This is a popular song associated with the 1945 film also entitled The Bells of St. Mary’s. The music was written by A. Emmett Adams, with lyrics by Douglas Furber,  in 1917. Bing Crosby sang the song in the film The Bells of St. Mary’s. Sheryl Crow recorded the song for her Home For Christmas CD.

Our favorite Shery Crow Christmas song is her recording of the classic track “Blue Christmas.” The song was initially made famous by Elvis Presley. It was first written by Billy Hayes and Jay W. Johnson and released in 1948.
