Our Complete List of Bob Welch Albums and Songs presents the solo studio discography of the former Fleetwood Mac guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Bob Welch was born on August 31, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, and died on June 7, 2012.

Welch joined Fleetwood Mac in 1971 and played an essential role during the band’s transitional period between its early British blues years and the international success that followed later in the decade. His Fleetwood Mac compositions included “Future Games,” “Sentimental Lady,” “Hypnotized,” “Emerald Eyes,” “Bermuda Triangle,” and “Silver Heels.”

After leaving Fleetwood Mac, Welch formed the hard-rock trio Paris before launching his solo career. His 1977 debut, French Kiss, became his greatest commercial success and produced the hit singles “Sentimental Lady,” “Ebony Eyes,” and “Hot Love, Cold World.” Welch ultimately released ten solo studio albums, including later collections of newly recorded versions of songs from his Fleetwood Mac and solo years.

French Kiss (1977)

Released: September 16, 1977

Bob Welch’s debut solo album became the most successful release of his career. French Kiss reached number twelve on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum in the United States. Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham contributed to the new recording of “Sentimental Lady.”

Three Hearts (1979)

Released: February 1979

Three Hearts continued the polished rock, pop, and disco-influenced sound of Welch’s debut. The album reached number twenty on the Billboard 200 and earned a gold certification. “Precious Love” became Welch’s final Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Other One (1979)

Released: November 1979

The Other One was Welch’s second album of 1979. Unlike French Kiss and Three Hearts, it did not feature appearances from his former Fleetwood Mac bandmates. The record included a concise new version of “Future Games,” the title composition from Fleetwood Mac’s 1971 album.
