Bob Weirs’ first solo album is not really a solo album because the Grateful Dead plays on this record. So in essence, it pretty much is a Grateful Dead album. Additionally, the Grateful Dead played most of the songs on this record in concert over the years. However in name only, this is Bob Weir’s first solo album.

The album featured an all-star cast of musicians including Mike Baird, Bill Champlin, David Foster, Lynette Gloud, Tom Kelly, Dee Murray, Nigel Olsson, David Paich, Mike Porcaro, Peggy Sandvig, Tom Scott, Carmen Twilley, and Waddy Wachtel.
