Tigerlily 

Released: June 20, 1995

Tigerlily is Natalie Merchant’s debut solo album, released after her departure from 10,000 Maniacs. The album’s sound is a departure from the sound of her former band,  It was a commercial and critical success, featuring hit singles like “Carnival,” “Wonder,” and “Jealousy.” The album was recorded at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, New York, and was produced by Natalie Merchant herself. It features musicians like Jennifer Turner on guitar, Peter Yanowitz on drums, and Barrie Maguire on bass.
