All American Rejects Songs Ranked

Our All-American Rejects songs ranked list looks back st the songs of a great rock band that hailed from Stillwater, Oklahoma called the All-American Rejects.They were one of the great rock bands of the 200os and early 2010s that echoed the sound of modern rock during that time period The band released their first album in 2003 entitled The All-American Rejects. From that point on, they would release three more albums entitled Move Along in 2005, When The World Comes Down in 2008 and Kids In The Street in 2012. Our All-American Rejects songs list presents 10 of our favorites and some of the most popular All-American Rejects songs ever released.

# 10 -The Last Song

We open up our All-American Rejects songs list with the band’s very cool track “The Last Song.” This great cut was released on the band’s first album entitled The All-American Rejects. The album was released in 2002. “The Last Song,” was issued as the second single from the album. “The Last Song,” broke the Billboard Top 40 on the US Alternative AirPlay charts. “The Last Song,” was also a top 70 single on the UK charts and a hit number 71 in Scotland. “The Last Song,” was also nominated for a Music Video Production Association Award as best pop video.

# 9 – I Wanna

Continuing with our All-American Rejects songs list we turn to the great track “I Wanna.” This song was released in 2009 on the album When The World Comes Down. We just love those slamming guitars at the start of the song as they cut in and out so sharply. This is just a fun good time song with a very catchy melody and a great screaming guitar riff all through the song. The song was released as the third single from the album When The World Comes Down.

# 8 – Kids In The Street

In the number eight spot on our All-American Rejects songs list is the grooving song “Kids In The Street.” This one sounds a little different from the earlier All-American Rejects songs. There was a bit of a techno feel on this one. The song “Kids In The Street,” was released in 2012 on the album Kids In The Street. It was the second single released from the record. As great as the song was, the techno didn’t seem to work for fans because it didn’t break on to any of the charts around the world. It’s sort of an outlier in their catalog but one we really think highly of and wanted to place it on this All-American Rejects songs list.

# 7 – Move Along

Moving along on our All-American Rejects songs list, we turn to the song “Move Along.” Sorry, sometimes we just can’t help ourselves. This great All-American Rejects song was released on the album also titled Move Along. The album was released in 2005. This album stands as the band’s best record. The song “Move Along,” was released as the second single from the album. It was a pretty big hit for the band as it was a top 20 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also was a top ten hit in Canada as well as peaking at number 42 in the United Kingdom. The song’s popularity was helped by the previous single “Dirty Little Secret.”

# 6 – It Ends Tonight

At the number six position on our All-American Rejects songs list we present the song “It Ends Tonight.” This is a great All-American Rejects song that’s intense, emotional and just a great joy to listen too. It’s gets heavy as the song moves along. It’s brilliantly produced and arranged. Just a great piece of music. The song was a big hit as it broke into the US Billboard Hot 100 charts peaking at number eight.

# 5 -The Wind Blows

At the halfway point on our All-American Rejects songs list we take a listen to a great mid-tempo song called “The Wind Blows.” This was the second single released from the album When The World Comes Down. It broke into the Top 40 on the US Billboard Mainstream pop songs charts. The song was written by Nick Wheeler and Tyson Ritter. This is one of the band softest songs. It’s a great song of hope and one of our favorite All-American Rejects songs of all time.

# 4 – Beekeeper’s Daughter

The All-American Rejects song “Beekeeper’s Daughter,” was released on the album the Kids In The Street. The album was released in 2012. “Beekeeper’s Daughter,” was the lead single from this great album that stood as the band’s fourth studio album release.”Beekeeper’s Daughter,” was a top 40 hit on the US Billboard Pop charts. The song was written by Nick Wilder and Tyson Ritter. The band kind of shifted their sound on this record focusing more on a pop sound then their heavier rock and roll tunes from their earlier period. If you watch the video closely you’ll see the legendary Wayne Newton making an appearance at the end. This one is fun all around.

# 3 – Gives You Hell

The All-American Rejects song “Gives You Hell,” was the lead single from the album When The World Comes Down. The album was released in 2008. The song “Gives You Hell,” would turn out to be the band’s biggest hit of their career. The song hit number one on the United States Billboard Pop Charts. It was the only number one song of the band’s career. The song deserved it because it is almost the perfect pop song. It’s just so extraordinarily catchy and so memorable.

# 2 – Swing Swing

Everyone loves this classic All-American Rejects song “Swing Swing,” Ask any one of the fans to name their favorite All-American Rejects songs and this is the one that usually come up. Swing Swing was also the first single the band ever released. It was issued on their first album entitled All-American Rejects. The album was released in 2002. “Swing Swing,” would break into the Billboard Top 20 Pop Charts in 2002 giving the band their first hit in the States.

We close out our All-American Rejects songs list with our favorite All-American Rejects songs entitled “Dirty Little Secret.” This is one of the all time great rock songs of the decade of the 2000s. The song “Dirty Little Secret,” was released in 2005. It was issued on the album Move Along. It was released as the album’s lead single. It was the band’s first top 10 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100.
