This Complete List Of The Eagles Albums And Songs presents the band’s studio albums, live releases, and major compilation albums. The Eagles formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1971, and their recordings helped bring country rock to a worldwide audience. Their catalog also reflects a musical shift toward a bigger, harder-edged rock sound as the 1970s progressed.
The seven original studio albums appear first in chronological order, followed by the live albums and compilations. Each original album cover, release date, and track listing is retained, with a short introduction to the music, chart performance, and notable songs. The later collections show how widely the band’s recordings have continued to circulate over the decades.
