Southernality, the debut studio album by American country rock band A Thousand Horses, was released on June 9, 2015. The album marked the band’s entry into the country music scene with a distinct blend of Southern rock, country, and blues influences. The album’s lead single, “Smoke,” gained significant popularity, reaching number one on the Country Airplay chart and establishing the band’s presence in the country music industry.

The band, consisting of Michael Hobby on lead vocals, Bill Satcher and Zach Brown on guitars, and Graham Deloach on bass, collaborated with producer Dave Cobb, known for his work with artists like Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson. Southernality was recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville, Tennessee.
