Dorothy is a rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2014. The current lineup of the band includes vocalist Dorothy Martin, guitarist Sam “Bam” Koltun, bassist Eliot Lorango, and drummer Jake Hayden. Over the years, the band has seen several members come and go, including Nick Perri, Dylan Howard, Gregg Cash, Zac Morris, Mark Jackson, Nick Maybury, Owen Barry, Jason Ganberg, Devon Pangle, and Eli Wulfmeier. The band is known for its powerful, blues-infused rock sound and has gained significant attention for their dynamic live performances featuring the captivating vocalist Dorothy Martin.
Rockisdead

Rockisdead is the debut album by the band Dorothy. We are wondering if the album title is a tribute to the famous lyric “Rock Is Dead,” sung by The Who in their song “Long Lve Rock.” We are not so sure as this is a band of pretty young people. The band Dorothy was named after its lead singer, Dorothy Martin. Dorothy worked closely with producer Linda Perry, known for her work with Pink, Christina Aguilera, and Gwen Stefani, and, of course, her own band 4 Non Blondes. The band features guitarists Nick Maybury and Owen Barry, bassist Eli Wulfmeier, drummer Jason Ganberg, and keyboardist Eliot Lorango. This was a very cool debut featuring pure rock and roll tunes with a very updated modern rock sound.
