Released October 25, 2024
Live At The Fillmore East, 1969 was released by Rhino in 2024 from the quartet’s September 20, 1969 concert at New York’s Fillmore East. The performance came during the group’s first tour and only a month after Woodstock. Its acoustic set includes “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” “Guinnevere,” “Our House,” and several songs connected to the members’ earlier and solo work. The electric set expands into “Wooden Ships,” “Sea Of Madness,” and Neil Young’s “Down By The River.” Stephen Stills and Neil Young compiled and mixed the original eight-track concert recordings with John Hanlon.
