This Complete List of AC/DC Albums and Songs covers the recordings of one of music history’s most successful hard rock bands. Formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, AC/DC built its reputation on powerful guitar riffs, unforgettable choruses, and the stage performances of singers Bon Scott and Brian Johnson.
The band’s early discography can be confusing because its first two Australian albums differed from the albums subsequently issued overseas. For that reason, this list includes the original Australian versions of High Voltage and T.N.T. alongside the international releases. The studio albums are followed by the official live albums and the soundtrack collections included in this discography.
Each album includes its original track listing, artwork, and release information, plus a brief look at its commercial success, best-known songs, or recording history. From the breakthrough years with Bon Scott to the massive success of Back in Black and the later Power Up album, these records trace the band’s remarkable history.
