The band Bathory are considered to be one of the most important bands in metal music… specifically Black Metal. The group was formed in the 1980s in Sweden. The group was founded and fueled for its entire run by Tomas “Quorthon” Forsberg. Sadly Quorthon passed away at the young age of 38.
