Charli XCX’s catalog moves fearlessly between underground rave music, glossy pop, punk attitude, hyperpop experimentation, vulnerable confession, club culture, film soundtracks, and radically reimagined collaborations. This complete A-to-Z guide brings together her studio albums, mixtapes, EPs, soundtrack work, remixes, guest appearances, unreleased recordings, and newer songs from Wuthering Heights and Music, Fashion, Film.

Charli XCX emerged from Cambridge, England, with a distinctive blend of pop instinct and experimental ambition that set her apart in a crowded musical landscape. Born Charlotte Emma Aitchison on August 2, 1992, and raised in Essex, she began writing songs as a teenager and drew inspiration from both mainstream pop and the electronic underground. That combination would eventually allow her to reshape contemporary pop from inside and outside its commercial center.
Her entry into the music industry began with an independent spirit. Charli shared early recordings online and performed at warehouse raves and unconventional London venues while still in her teens. She signed a recording contract in 2010, but her creative development continued through mixtapes, singles, collaborations, and an expanding network of experimental producers.
Her debut studio album, True Romance, arrived in 2013 with a dark, atmospheric form of synth-pop. Its songs included “Nuclear Seasons,” “You (Ha Ha Ha),” “What I Like,” “Stay Away,” and “Take My Hand.” The following year, Sucker pushed toward brighter punk-pop and produced “Boom Clap,” “Break the Rules,” “Doing It,” and “Famous.”
Charli’s mainstream visibility also grew through collaborations and songwriting. Her appearance on Icona Pop’s “I Love It” introduced her voice to an international audience, while Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. She also co-wrote songs for artists including Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, and many others.
The Vroom Vroom EP in 2016 marked a decisive creative turn. Working with SOPHIE and moving deeper into metallic electronic production, Charli found a new language that continued through the 2017 mixtapes Number 1 Angel and Pop 2. Songs including “Vroom Vroom,” “Lipgloss,” “Backseat,” “Track 10,” “Unlock It,” and “Out of My Head” became foundational recordings in the development of hyperpop and internet-driven experimental pop.
Her self-titled album Charli followed in 2019 with “1999,” “Gone,” “Cross You Out,” “White Mercedes,” “Click,” and “Next Level Charli.” During the COVID-19 lockdown, she created how i’m feeling now in close communication with fans. Completed in a matter of weeks, the 2020 album included “forever,” “claws,” “party 4 u,” “anthems,” “visions,” and “i finally understand.”
Crash arrived in 2022 as a sharply constructed pop album that deliberately engaged with the machinery and imagery of mainstream stardom. “Good Ones,” “New Shapes,” “Beg for You,” “Baby,” “Used to Know Me,” “Yuck,” and “Constant Repeat” balanced polished hooks with Charli’s long-standing instinct for disruption.
Charli released her sixth studio album, Brat, in 2024. The record’s fluorescent visual identity and club-focused production became a cultural phenomenon, while songs including “360,” “Von dutch,” “Club classics,” “Apple,” “Girl, so confusing,” “So I,” “Sympathy Is a Knife,” and “365” combined hedonism with insecurity, grief, ambition, rivalry, and self-examination. A deluxe edition added “Hello Goodbye,” “Guess,” and “Spring Breakers.”
The remix album Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat rebuilt the material through collaborations with Robyn, Yung Lean, Ariana Grande, Troye Sivan, Lorde, Billie Eilish, Bon Iver, Caroline Polachek, Tinashe, The Japanese House, Shygirl, Bladee, Julian Casablancas, The 1975, Jon Hopkins, BB Trickz, Addison Rae, and A. G. Cook. Rather than simply adding guest verses, the project frequently transformed the original songs into new compositions.
At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Charli won Best Dance/Electronic Album for Brat, Best Dance Pop Recording for “Von dutch,” and Best Recording Package for Brat. Those victories came after her earlier Grammy nominations for “Fancy” and brought her career total to three wins from ten nominations.
In 2026, Charli released the 12-song soundtrack album Wuthering Heights, created for Emerald Fennell’s film adaptation of the Emily Brontë novel. The project included “House” featuring John Cale, “Wall of Sound,” “Dying for You,” “Always Everywhere,” “Chains of Love,” “Out of Myself,” “Open Up,” “Seeing Things,” “Altars,” “Eyes of the World” featuring Sky Ferreira, “My Reminder,” and “Funny Mouth.”
Her next studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, was announced for July 24, 2026. The 11-song project was introduced through “Rock Music,” “SS26,” and “Wink Wink,” extending Charli’s work across music, visual culture, performance, fashion, and film.
Across every phase of her career, Charli XCX has resisted the idea that accessibility and experimentation must exist on opposite sides of pop music. Her catalog continues to connect underground scenes with global audiences while treating collaboration, technology, image-making, and reinvention as essential parts of songwriting.
