DEFTONES STUDIO ALBUMS

Adrenaline

Released October 3, 1995

The band’s first album was released in the middle of the grunge era. Of course, it easily contributed to this amazing musical change that was happening in the 90s. This one captured everyone’s attention right away as the band took a little bit of everything that was going on and molded it into their own unique sound. That music sounded somewhere between Nirvana and Tool with a whole bunch of other stuff blended in there and spun around. The album featured Chino Moreno on lead vocals, Stephen Carpenter on guitar, Chi Cheng on bass and backing vocals, and Abe Cunningham on drums.
