Perfect Timing, released on October 12, 1987, marked the debut of the McAuley Schenker Group, a collaboration between former Scorpions guitarist Michael Schenker and vocalist Robin McAuley. Save Yourself

Released October 10, 1989

Save Yourself, the second studio album by the McAuley Schenker Group, was released on October 10, 1989. The album continued to build on the melodic hard rock approach of their debut. Michael Schenker’s guitar prowess combined with Robin McAuley’s strong vocals created a distinctive sound that appealed to both hard rock and heavy metal audiences. The recording lineup remained consistent with the addition of Steve Mann on keyboards and rhythm guitar. Produced by Frank Filipetti and Michael Schenker, the album was recorded at Bearsville Studios in New York and Goodnight LA Studios in California.
