Released: May 16, 2000
The band’s major label debut was fueled by the success of their huge hit single “Absolutely (Story of a Girl).” The song became a top 10 hit, peaking at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was a perfect pop song, blending just the right amount of rock and roll and slick production to score big time in pop culture, putting this band on the map. John Hampson wrote the song. It was the first of three singles released from the album, including the songs “If I Am” and “257 Weeks.”
