Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley has passed away at the age pf 54. It was only a couple of hours ago that reports came in that Lisa Marie Presley had been rushed to the hospital. It was only a few minutes ago that her mother Priscilla Presley released the following statement.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and the most loving woman I have ever known.”
The Associated Press reported that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department had been involved in a call with a female who was not breathing in Calabasas, California. That female turned out to be Lisa Marie Presley who was rushed to the hospital where she would later pass away.
Lisa Marie Presley was born on Feb. 1, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. Lisa Marie would later move to Los Angeles with her mother Pricials Presley when Elvis and Priscilla Presley got divorced. Her life would be thrown upside down in 1977 when her father Elvis Presley died suddenly.
Lisa Marie Presley followed in her father’s footsteps for a short period of time releasing three albums in the 2000s called To Whom It May Concern, Now What, and Storm & Grace and touring to promote the shows. One of her first tours had her opening for Chris Issak.
Lisa Maries Presley’s personal life made the headlines often. She was married four times including marriages to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, actor Nicolas Cage, and Michael Lockwood.
Lisa Marie Presley had just been in the public eye on television as she appeared at the Golden Globes Award show with her mother Priscilla Presley on Tuesday night January 10, 2023.
