Our Top 10 Lady A Songs list looks at one of the most successful country music pop groups of the past 20 years who used to be known as Lady Antebellum. The group hails from the the most legendary country music city in the U.S.A. called Nashville, Tennessee. The groups members come from a legacy of country music artists. The band is fueled by the beautiful and extremely talented Hillary Scott  whose mother is famed country music artist Linda Davis. The bands other lead singer Charles Kelly is a sibling of pop singer Josh Kelly. The group is rounded out by the brilliant Dave Haywood.

The group recently changed the name of the band from Lady Antebellum to Lady A because they wanted to dissociate themselves with the word Antebellum. It was a term used to describe a  specific time period in the United States South between the American Revolution and Civil War when the cruelty and horrors of slavery was utilized in the South would eventually lead to Civil War.

Our top 10 Lady A songs will take a look at the groups amazing run of number one singles on the county music charts and top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. There aren’t many lists that we put together that are composed of all number one songs. That’s Beatles and Elvis Presley territory.

It’s very much a party song as one could probably tell from the title. And we always need a good party song.  The song was released on the album entitled Ocean. The album was released in 2020. The song also was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts reaching all the way up to number thirty three.

The album was released in 2020. It was the first single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts peaking at number one. The song also was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts  just making the top 40 at number 40. In the United Kingdom the song hit. The song was composed by Ryan Hurd, Sam Ellis, Laura Veltz and Jon Green.

# 6 – Our Kind of Love

Landing in the number six spot our top 10 Lady A Songs songs list we present the song “Our Kind of Love.” This smoking song was based on the great piano riff that opens the song and resonates through the entire song. # 5 – Downtown

At the halfway point on our top 10 Lady A Songs songs list is the great track Downtown. It’s also a really fun video to watch. The song was issued on the album entitled Golden. # 1 – Need You Now

We close out our top 10 Lady A Songs songs list with the band’s biggest hit of their career entitled “Need You Now.” It’s amazing how big this songs was. “Need You Now,” won four Grammy Awards including Grammys for “Song of the Year,” and “Record of The Year.”  It’s such a relatable song to so many especially in the bars late at night. The song was released on the album entitled Need You Know. The album was released in 2009. It was the first single released from the album. The song was a number one hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts peaking at number one. The song also was the band’s highest charting song on the US Billboard Hot 100 reaching all the way up to number two. On the the US Billboard Adult Contemporary charts the song also hit number one.
