Miley Ray Cyrus famously known as Miley Cyrus, born 23rd November 1992, Franklin, Tennessee, U.S. is an American singer and actress who rose to fame on the television show, Hannah Montana and its related sound albums which catapulted her into stardom
Miley was born to a country singer and an actor Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish- his wife. Her sunny disposition when young earned Cyrus her nickname “Smiley Miley.” In late 2007, Miley embarked on a tour “Best of Both Worlds” to support her latest album. She gained wider exposure after her song “See You Again” crossed over the top pop charts in 2008.

Miley Cyrus’s songs incorporate several varied styles and genres such as pop, hip-hop, country-pop, rock, and experimental. # 10 – Mother’s Daughter

This track by Miley Cyrus is lovely. It was released on 11th June 2019 by RCA Records as a lead single from her second extended play “She Is Coming.” Lyrically, this song is a Women’s empowerment anthem focusing on the mother-daughter strong relationship.

Cyrus references how her mother told her that she would make it in life. She says her heart is into those words, her back into it and so, she did it. Additionally, she talks about herself being nasty and says that she has the freedom to do what she feels like. The music video is all about the woman’s body and the right to own your body and make it free from the masculine gaze. It is quite hilarious. It features Miley Cyrus wearing a red latex against red lighting with diverse women including disabled women, women of color, transgender women, and body positivity women.

This track peaked at number 54 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and it was her 47th song to enter into this chart. The track was a commercial success and appeared in other charts in several European countries.

If you are well familiar with Miley songs, you will note that this track has a change in pace compared to the rest of her tracks, but generally, this is a great hit and the tune is quite refreshing. “Malibu” is an impressive comeback for her release and it covers themes of change, second chances, and identity. “Slide Away” by Miley Cyrus was released as a stand-alone single on 16th August 2019, by RCA Records. The song describes the gone wrong or rather the deterioration of a relationship which is compared to the breakup of Cyrus from her husband.

The track received numerous positive reviews and peaked at number 47 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The track’s music video comprises scenes where Miley is seen underwater in a pool and leaning on the pool’s edge amongst partygoers during a house party. The song is very emotional and will draw your tears upon listening to it.

Most music artists use their love lives to inspire others occasionally, but this can sometimes strike a delicate balance between love or rather lingering and progressing in a big way and the part of moving on is mostly more prominent.

This song bears the aspects of both rock and country music while lyrically the tracks describe the seven things that Miley Cyrus hates about her ex-boyfriend, but at the end, she also lists the things she likes about him.

In the music video, Miley wears Nick’s diabetes dog tag and sings about how insecurities and vanity undermined their relationship. In an interview, Miley Cyrus brushed the allegations that the song is about his ex-boyfriend and said it can be for anyone you think it is. The track’s lyrics are written in the second person and surely it is not a fault thinking it is about her ex-boyfriend.

In an interview, she said that the track is for her fans who always believe in her and it shows that no one can stop us from who we are. This is a song that matches Miley’s personality. The song received mixed reactions including positive reviews appreciating its overall production.
