Her role as Alex Russo on the huge hit television show Wizards of Waverly Place that ran for five years between 2007 and 2012 would help Selena Gomez garner a huge fan base that would support her 100 percent in her recording career in similar fashion to what Ariana Grande accomplished. The album was released in 2015. It was the second single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 reaching all the way up to number six. The song also was a hit on the Canadian Music Charts reaching all the way up to the same spot as in the US at number six.  In the United Kingdom the song hit number eighty three.

We hit up a very recent release by Selena Gomez in the number four spot on our top 10 Selena Gomez songs list with the song “Ice Cream.” This great track was released with the girl group Blackpink. The song was released on the Blackpink album entitled  The Album. The song was a huge hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number five. The song also was a top 10 hit in Denmark, Norway, Australia and Canada. In the United Kingdom, the song hit number twenty three. The song went multi platinum in various countries around the world.

We close out our top 10 Selena Gomez songs list with onE of her most extraordinarily popular songs entitled “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” The song was released on the album entitled For You. The album was released in 2014. It was the first single released from the album. The song was a top 10 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number six. In the United Kingdom the song hit number thirty.  The song “The Heart Wants What It Wants,”was composed by Selena Gomez, Antonina Armato, David Jost and Tim James.
