Our Top 10 Snow Patrol songs list looks at the great rock and roll pop songs of a rock and roll band from the city of Dundee, Scotland formed in 1994. The group would become part of the new Britpop movement that started with Oasis in the mid to late 90s and into 21st century that has had fabulous success on both sides of the Atlantic. After releasing a series of independent albums in the late 90s, and early 2000s, Snow Patrol signed a major label record deal with Polydor Records in 2002. The band gained international fame in 2006 with the success of their massive hit single “Chasing Cars.” Over a twenty year period, Snow Patrol has released seven studio albums between the years 1998 and 2018. The song was a hit on the United Kingdom Singles Chart peaking at number twenty four. The song also was a  top 40 hit in Ireland and The Netherlands.

In the number seven position our top 10 Snow Patrol songs list is the song entitled “Just Say Yes.” There’s a great 80s style keyboard riff that fuels this very cool song. The backing vocals are sensational and add some real nice spirit to the piece. The song was released on the album entitled Up to Now. It seems like every modern 21st century band get a song on a Spider Man Soundtrack album. At the halfway point on our top 10 Snow Patrol songs list is the very cool now part of the Marvel Universe song “Signal Fire.” The song was issued on the album entitled Spider-Man 3: The Official Soundtrack. The album was released in 2007. The song was a big hit on the United Kingdom Singles Chart peaking at number four. The song  was an even bigger hit in Ireland where it peaked at number two. The song also hit number 65 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The song also was a hit in Ireland where it peaked at number twelve.

# 2 – Run

There is a bit of a  early 80s Tom Petty vibe on this great Snow Patrol song entitled “Run.” The song was released on the album entitled Final Straw. The album was released in 2004.  It was the second single released from the album. The song was a hit on the United Kingdom Singles Chart  peaking at number five. It was the first top 10 hit of the band’s career. The song also was a  top 30 hit in Ireland and The Netherlands.

# 1 – Chasing Cars

We close out our top 10 Snow Patrol songs list with the band’s most legendary and simply stunning song “Chasing Cars.” This one is haunting and yet so beautiful. “Chasing Cars,” holds the distinction of being the most played song in UK radio in the 21st century. This is a county that that spawned The Beatles and The Rolling Stones so that’s a pretty impressive feat.
