Luke Stamenkovich
If you want to check out some brand new sizzling guitar playing, look no further than Luke Stamenkovich’s smoking cover version of Steve Stevens’ classic track “Atomic Playboys.”
Born in Australia, Luke Stamenkovich began playing guitar at the age of six years old. The guitar virtuoso’s intense talent on the ax led the way through the Perth scene where he developed a name for himself as the hot gun to hire. Since his days in Australia, Luke has performed in the United States both on the concert stage and in the studio working with a multitude of well-known musical artists. In 2021, Luke Stamenkovich released his first album entitled Chasing Dreams. The album also featured some of the hottest session musicians in the music business.
Recently, Luke Stamenkovich has generated heavy buzz in the music industry with his hot new single entitled “Atomic Playboys.” Originally released on Steve Stevens’ Atomic Playboys album in 1987, Luke Stamenkovich’s version pays respectful tribute to the original while adding his own passionate style of guitar playing wrapped around his poignant virtuoso guitar skills. Luke’s dazzling guitar soloing on the track serves as notice that there’s a new guitar slinger in town. His playing is not to be missed.
Luke’s cover version of “Atomic Playboys,” also features Todd Kerns on bass and lead vocals. Todd Kerns is a well-known rock musician who is currently performing in Guns N’ Roses’ famous guitar player Slash’s band, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.
Luke Stamenkovich’s version of “Atomic Playboys,” also features Shane Gaalaas of Tourque on drums. The smoking power trio sounds like they have been playing together for years on this fabulous recording. It’s not just our opinion on how great these guys sound together. Rock fans in Australia have gone bonkers over the recording helping Luke Stamenkovich’s version of “Atomic Playboys,” hit number one on the iTunes Rock Charts.
