It Ain’t Me Babe stands as the debut studio album by The Turtles. You Baby marked The Turtles’ second studio album. The band lineup remained consistent with their debut album, featuring Howard Kaylan (lead vocals), Mark Volman (vocals, guitar), Al Nichol (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), Jim Tucker (rhythm guitar), Chuck Portz (bass guitar), and Don Murray (drums). Produced by Ray Davies of The Kinks, this collaboration added a distinctive touch to the album’s sound and marked Davies’ first official production credit for an act other than The Kinks. Wooden Head (1970)

Wooden Head was released in 1970 after The Turtles’ five proper studio albums. Rather than a newly recorded studio album, it was assembled from B-sides, rarities, and previously unreleased recordings from the band’s earlier White Whale sessions. The album has nevertheless remained part of the official six-album White Whale catalog and was included in the 2016 Complete Original Album Collection.
