For Record Store Day on April 18, 2026, the band issued Diamond Seas, a two-sided plunderphonic reconstruction created by John Oswald from thirty-two performances of “The Diamond Sea” recorded during 1995 and 1996. As of July 29, 2026, Diamond Seas was the newest official Sonic Youth release.
