August Burns Red are a Christian rock band that hail from the area of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band does get uncomfortable at times when they are called a Christian rock band as most artists do when they are being pigeonholed or classified under one distinct category. While Christianity definitely shines through in their lyrics, their musical arrangements and performances echo that of the metalcore music genre. August Burns Red have so far released nine studio albums. Their first album was released in 2005 entitled Thrill Seeker. Their latest album was issued in 2020 entitled Guardians.
# 9 – Thrill Seeker
Opening up our August Burns Red Albums List we present August Burns Red’s debut album entitled Thrill Seeker. The album was released in 2005. This is the only album to feature lead singer Josh McManness. The band would change their lead singer and bass player on their next album. Thrill Seeker did not break onto any of the music charts. The album featured Josh McManness on lead vocals, JB Brubaker on lead guitar, Brent Rambler on guitar, Jordan Tuscan on bass and Matt Greiner on drums.

# 8 – Sleddin’ Hill
In the next spot on our August Burns Red Albums List we present the album entitled Sleddin’ Hill. The album was released in 2012.This was the band’s Christmas album. These are very interesting and well played versions of Christmas classics. Sleigh Ride sounds like Frank Zappa and Steve Vai. The Sleddin’ Hill album did not do that well on the mainstream charts but it still did break into the top 200 as it hit number 147 on hit U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. On the US Billboard Top Christian Albums Charts Sleddin’ Hill peaked at number eight. The album also appeared on the US Billboard Hard Rock Albums Charts reaching the number fourteen position.
