Led by vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth, they have released seven studio albums, achieving significant commercial success. Their music has climbed the Billboard charts, with albums like Blood and Black Widow reaching the top 15. In This Moment is known for their theatrical live shows.
Maria Brink
Maria Brink, the lead vocalist and pianist, co-founded In This Moment in 2005 and has remained a constant member throughout its evolution. Chris Howorth

Travis Johnson
Travis Johnson joined In This Moment in 2009 as the bassist. Since joining, he has played on albums starting from A Star-Crossed Wasteland through to their latest release. Johnson’s aggressive bass playing complements the band’s heavy sound. Outside of In This Moment, Johnson has worked on various musical projects but remains primarily focused on his role in the band.
Randy Weitzel
Randy Weitzel became the rhythm guitarist for In This Moment in 2011. He has been a part of the lineup for albums such as Blood, Black Widow, and Ritual. Weitzel’s rhythm guitar plays a crucial role in the band’s heavy metal sound, providing a solid harmonic foundation for their songs. He is also known for his energetic live performances, enhancing the visual and auditory experience of their shows.
Kent Diimmel
Kent Diimmel joined the band as the drummer in 2016, making his debut with the album Ritual released in 2017. Blake Bunzel
Blake Bunzel was one of the original guitarists alongside Chris Howorth. He was with the band from its inception until 2011, contributing to the first four albums. Bunzel’s guitar work was crucial in developing In This Moment’s early musical style. After his departure, he pursued other musical projects, including playing for the band Black Label Society for a period.
Josh Newell
Josh Newell briefly played bass during the band’s early years before leaving in 2005. Although his time with the band was short, he contributed to their initial sound and development during their formative stage. After leaving In This Moment, Newell focused on a career in music production and audio engineering.
Jesse Landry
Jesse Landry was the bassist for In This Moment from 2005 to 2009. During his tenure, he played on the albums Beautiful Tragedy and The Dream. Kyle Konkiel
