Our Top 10 Martina McBride songs list looks at a very successful country music pop singer born in 1966 in the small town of Sharon, Kansas. After moving to Nashville Tennessee in the early 1990s, Martina McBride hit the big time when she released her stunning debut album in 1992 entitled The Time Has Come. Her follow up album entitled The Way That I Am  turned her into a household name when she celebrated major chart success with the marvelous single “The Way That I Am,” along with a mesmerizing video that she filmed for the song.

Since the release of her first album, Martina McBride has released fourteen studio albums. She has also released over fifty singles and forty five wonderful music videos. Over the years, she has won multiple Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards. Like many other female country music artists such as Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton her songs have had great success crossing over into the pop world. # 4 –  Wild Angels

At the number four spot on our top 10 Martina McBride songs list we present the extraordinary song entitled “Wild Angels.” Everyone remembers their first…..number one single. Martina McBride will never forget this one as the song hit number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts in 1995. The song was released on the album also entitled Wild Angles. The lively song Wild Angels” was composed by Matraca Berg, Gary Harrison and Harry Stinson.

# 3 – The Time Has Come

“The Time Has Come” is a special song for Martina McBride because it stands as the first single release of her career. Three have been many songs written with the title “Independence Day.” Martina McBride’s great track “Independence Day,” stands as one of our favorites.This one has nothing to really do with the national holiday, it’s more family related in the same manner Bruce Springsteen’s “Independence Day,” This is such a brilliantly written song. The great songwriter Gretchen Peters received the Songs Of The Year Award in 1995  from the Country Music Association for “Independence Day.”

“Independence Day,” was released on the grand album entitled The Way That I Am. The album was released in 1994. It was the fourth single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts peaking at number twelve. The song “Independence Day,” also was a hit on the Canadian Country Music Charts rising all the way to number fourteen. “Independence Day” would become Martina McBride’s first platinum selling single.

# 1 – My Baby Loves Me

We just had to go with this one in the number one spot on our Martina McBride songs list with the radiant song entitled “My Baby Loves Me.” This is just one of those songs that you can’t stop singing after the first time you hear it. It’s also one of our all time favorite music videos as Martina McBride is just so stunning in the video.  Have you ever seen eyes so blues and beautiful before?

The song “My Baby Loves Me” was released on the album entitled The Way That I Am.  The album was released in 1993. The Way That I Am was Martina McBride’s second studio album. “My Baby Loves Me” was the first single released from the album. The song “My Baby Loves Me” was a hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts peaking at number two. It would also become Martina McBride’s first number one single of her career as the song hit number one on the Canadian Country Music Charts. The song “My Baby Loves Me” was composed by Gretchen Peters.
