Our Wilco Albums Discography And Songs List presents the complete studio album  Discography of the American rock band called Wilco. Often labeled as an alternative rock band, the group’s music was clearly inspired by many different musical genres of music ranging for pure Beatles style pop melodies and arrangements to late 1970s new wave bands. That pretty much sums up so much of what the 90s had to offer in terms of new rock and roll bands. Wilco stand as one of the decades most original sounding of them all.

The group was originally formed in 1994 in the grand city of Chicago Illinois. The original lineup of the band Wilco was basically the same lineup of the band Uncle Tupelo without the groups’ lead singer Hay Farrar who formed the band called Son Volt. A revolving door of musicians would pass through the Wilco lineup over the years with original members Jeff Tweedy and John Stirratt  would stand as the groups only continuous members.

Wilco have released twelve studio albums throughout the band’s history. They have also won multiple Grammy Awards. While they have had commercial success, there are   a band more in the mold  as far as popularity like a Weezer, a Dave Matthews Band or even a Grateful Dead in which they have developed a large loyal following.
