Rumors have been circling once again over a Guns N’ Roses reunion tour. It has been reported on various news sites that ex Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and Axel Rose are on speaking terms for the first time in over two decades. In an interview that took place in Sweden on Aftonbladget TV August 21, 2015, Slash spoke about speaking with Axel Rose for the first time in twenty years. According to Slash, “It was probably way overdue, you know. But it’s…. you know, it’s very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative… dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long.”[1]  So of course, rumors have begun to emerge of a possible Guns N’ Roses reunion tour or album.

One look at the music industry and the complete decimation of album sales may prove the reunion rumor may possibly develop into a realistic Guns ‘N’ Roses reunion tour. Nobody know the finances of a Slash or an Axel Rose, but it’s pretty easy to see that Guns ‘N’ Roses CD sales are not what they were in the eighties and nineties. Trumping decisions of artistic intent, will always be the factor of economics. Simply put, if for some reason the former stars of Guns ‘N’ Roses are not making the money they did in their heyday, a Guns ‘N’ Roses reunion tour may possibly eventually happen.

And speaking of Trump, Slash was asked what he thought of the billionaire’s run for the Presidency of the United States. Slash responded, “It has been a circus.” Slash also seemed to praise Trump a bit calling him “not your typical politician full of B.S.” But seemingly keeping a realistic perspective on the Trump run, Slash also called Trump “tenacious and entertaining.”

Regardless of the Guns N’ Roses possible reunion, Slash will be starting his North American tour on September 24th 2015 in support of his recent CD “World on Fire.”  Wonder if Slash will be announcing any special guest at some shows.

Update on Guns N’ Roses reunion tour 2015

The change in the official Guns N’ Roses logo on their official website has fueled more speculation that their may be actual plans for the Guns N’ Roses reunion tour we have all been talking about most recently. The official Guns’N’ Roses  website has changed the  Guns ‘N’ Roses  logo back to the original band’s logo. The rumors are that Guns N’ Roses reunion tour  will be performing at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival, which takes places annually in April in Indio, California. The lineup for that show will be announced on January 5th 2015. This could be the announcement that finally turns rumors into reality and brings us Guns N’ Roses reunion tour we have all been waiting for.
