Arctic Monkeys, one of the most influential rock bands of the 21st century, formed in Sheffield, England, in 2002. The band’s lineup consists of Alex Turner on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie Cook on guitar, Nick O’Malley on bass, and Matt Helders on drums. Former bassist Andy Nicholson was part of the band during its early years.

Known for witty lyrics and a constantly evolving musical style, the band quickly rose to fame with its debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, released in 2006. The record became the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history and established Arctic Monkeys as one of the defining British bands of their generation.

Arctic Monkeys have released seven studio albums, showcasing an evolution from post-punk and indie rock to desert rock, psychedelic pop, orchestral arrangements, and lounge-influenced songwriting. Their best-known singles include “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor,” “Do I Wanna Know?,” “R U Mine?,” “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?,” and “505.”

The band’s seventh studio album, The Car, was released in October 2022. Its ten songs continued the cinematic direction introduced on Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, with prominent strings, restrained guitar work, and arrangements built around Turner’s increasingly dramatic vocal style.

The list below includes Arctic Monkeys studio recordings, B-sides, non-album singles, covers, radio performances, and the distinct live recordings released on Live at the Royal Albert Hall.
