Mariah Carey To Release New Single On Nov 5, 2021

Mariah Carey New Single

Well we now know what that ambiguous 11/5 date meant that was printed on the Christmas presents in the Mariah Carey Instagram video a few days ago. For those of you who may have missed the news article we printed a few days ago, we will review what happened. On Sunday October 31st Mariah Carey posted a 28 second instagram video of her smashing pumpkins with a sign that flashed “It’s Not Time. At one point in the video while Mariah Carey was waving and smiling at the camera while opening presents a quick screenshot of a present with the date 11/5 appeared on the screen. No one knew what it meant but most of us felt it would at least be an announcement of a new release or possibly a new Christmas special. It turns out it was more than just a announcement. Mariah Carey has just informed the public that on November 5th she will be releasing a brand new Christmas song. The Queen Of Christmas is back with a sparking new holiday song during her favorite season of the year.

Once again, Mariah Carey has used the power of her Instagram account and of course all the websites that follow to announce the name of her new song and released date. The new song will be titled “Fall in Love at Christmas.” This new spectacular Christmas songs is pretty much the opposite of the rocking classic “All I Want For Christmas.” Mariah Carey only released a snippet of the song in her Instagram video but form what we hear, this one is a slow soulful gospel like ballad that simply sounds stunning. The song also features the very cool rhythm and blues singer named Khalid. Also on board is the fabulosus Kirk Franklin who is probably pretty much responsible for the huge gospel like vocal sound we can hear in the snippet. These are three major talents coming together to release a new Christmas song that we have a pretty good feeling is going to be another classic. Listen, the “Queen Of Christmas,” would have it no other way.

For those who may not be familiar with Khalid, the r&b singer hails from the State of Texas and is relatively new to the music business having only been around for a few years. Yet, the man has made a deep mark in the business rather quickly. Khalid has already been nominated for six Grammy Awards. He has collaborated with singers  and artists Logic, Alessia Cara, Noirmanin, Benny Blanco, Halsey, Marshmello and Billie Eilish. His work with these artists has resulted in multiple top 10 hits and music awards. The dude is on fire. Mariah Carey know how to pick the right people to work with.

Kirk Franklin is a musical legend. Do you want to know how much of a musical legend Kirk Franklin is? How about a sixteen Grammy Award winning legend. Yeah, that’s what I am talking about, or at least that’s what Mariah Carey is talking about. If your an artist looking to produce a new Christmas song with a gospel sounding flair, it’s probably a pretty good idea to hire an artist who has won sixteen Grammy Awards for his work in gospel music. Combine that with a super hot r&b artist in which everything he has touched turn to mega hit gold and of course with possibly the greatest female vocalist of all time, chances are you’re going to have another super smash hit Christmas song. It will be very interesting to see how successful Mariah Carey’s new Christmas song will become.

With the news of Mariah Carey’s new single it was also announced that Mariah Carey would be performing the song live on television only once. That performance would happen on her new televised Christmas special called Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues. The television special will air only on Apple TV+. This will be Mariah Carey’s second Christmas Special for Apple TV+. Last year Apple TV+ presented Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special. The special featured multiple stars including Bette Midler, Ariana Grande and of course Mariah Carey. These specials are Apple TV+ exclusives.  The new special will also feature Mariah Carey‘s collaborators on the song  “Fall in Love at Christmas,” Kirk Franklin and Khalid. The special will begin airing on Apple TV+ in December. Looks like it’s going to be another Mariah Carey Christmas.
