#10 – Baby Girl

The 10th song on our Top 10 Best B2K Songs list is “Baby Girl” from B2K’s self-titled album. “Baby Girl” was released in 2001. The song is about a man who is giving advice to a woman who is involved with someone who isn’t good enough for her. He lets her know that the guy takes advantage of her. Her man threw her love away and broke her heart. He knows that she can’t express how she feels, but he knows that there is someone else out there for her. He lets her know that someone will love her the way she deserves to be loved. The narrator wants to know why she looks so sad. He advises her to start again. He advises her that tough times don’t last long. When it comes to love, some people win and some people lose. The important thing is to not give up.

This is a sweet song about a man helping a woman through a bad relationship. He is not trying to get together with her. He wants her to know that she will be okay. He could have easily gone after her, but he gives her advice about someone being out there for her. In other songs like this, the guy would have pursued the woman. Listening to this song is like getting good advice from a friend. If you are dealing with a bad relationship, this is the song you need to hear. This song gives B2K a chance to show their sensitive side. They sing a lot of songs about dancing and looking at women’s bodies. This song gives them a chance to talk about something real. Omarion and Raz-B take turns at the microphone. They sound good convincing the woman not to be sad. This song wasn’t released as a single, but it deserves to be recognized because it is a beautiful song.

# 9 – Last Boyfriend

The ninth song on our Top 10 Best B2K Songs list is “Last Boyfriend” from the self-titled album. “Last Boyfriend” was released in 2001. This song is about a man who is frustrated with his girlfriend. She keeps accusing him of cheating on her and doesn’t trust him. He asks her to understand that he is not being unfaithful. He wants her to stop comparing him to other women. The narrator wants to know why she questions where he has been. He wonders why she talks to him the way she does.

Her allegations are starting to get to him. She always assumes the worst in him. He warns her that if she keeps accusing him of running around, he is going to leave her. He wants her to stop yelling at him because he is not like her boyfriends from the past. The narrator tells her that he can’t keep putting up with her accusations. He doesn’t want to keep arguing with her about the same thing. He doesn’t want to keep paying for someone else’s mistakes. He loves her but he won’t stay if she keeps accusing him of running around on her.

This song tells the story of a frustrated man who is tired of being compared to his girlfriend’s old boyfriends. It would be frustrating to date someone who is constantly comparing you to a person who hurt them. It is a realistic story that happens between couples. People who have been hurt assume the new person in their lives will hurt them as well. B2K conveyed this message very well.

You may think that the theme of the song should have been a ballad, but the group surprises listeners by making it an up-tempo beat. Jermaine Dupri produced the song and provided an excellent beat for the group. The sound goes with their voices. The music caters to their style of music. They like to make people dance and that is what they did. Omarion and Lil’ Fizz take turns at the microphone. Omarion sings lead while Lil’ Fizz provides the rap. Jermaine Dupri provides the ad libs. This is another song that wasn’t a single, but it is worth checking out.

# 8 – Badaboom ft. Marques Houston and Fabolous

The song is straight forward and direct. They know what they want from the women they meet in the club. They don’t hold back on expressing how much the women turn them on in the song. The track is from the movie, but it fits with the types of songs they sing. You can appreciate the song if you are a fan of the group. The lyrics aren’t graphic. They let you know what they want without being too graphic or vulgar.

The music is catchy and perfect for the club. There is no way to resist getting on the dance floor. Don’t let the title of the song fool you. It is not just a throwaway song. It is what you would expect from a club song. They manage not to make it a novelty song. Women may not like their lower regions being referred to as “badaboom,” but the song is still infectious. This is another song from the movie, but you don’t have to be a fan of the movie to appreciate it. The music has the perfect club banging beat. The music is infectious and dance friendly. It is impossible to listen to this song and not get the urge to get on the dance floor. It will have you dancing until the end of the song. It is also a song you can listen to while you are working out. The music has a lot of energy and will keep you energetic. This is not a song you can take seriously. You shouldn’t expect to hear deep and meaningful lyrics, but it is a fun song that will put you in a good mood.

If you don’t know the right thing to say to the one you love, let B2K do the talking with this track. This is the type of song that will never get old. Later in the song, the narrator talks about the type of woman he is looking for in his life. He wants someone he can spend money on and take out on dates.

The song tells the story of a lonely guy who wants love in his life. He has everything but he doesn’t have love in his life. People who have everything they want in life, but don’t have love will relate to the lyrics. This song lets you know that money isn’t everything. Money can’t replace having love in your life. This is the type of song that will make you a believer in love. The music has a thumping beat. It is a hip-hop ballad with tempo so you can still get on the dance floor. It has a classic 2000s r&b beat that never gets old. This song gives most of the members of the group a chance to sing lead. They all seem like they are having fun on the track. The fun is contagious. They all do a great job with the parts they have in the song.

# 3 – What a Girl Wants

Coming in at number three on our list is “What a Girl Wants” from the Pandemonium! album. “What a Girl Wants” was released in March 2003. The song is about a man giving advice to another man about the way he treats the woman in his life. The narrator asks his friend what is going on with him. He wants to know why he treats her the way he does. He tells his friend the girl loves him, so he wants to know why he loses control around her. The narrator feels his friend should find a better way to handle his issues.

He warns his friend that he needs to change his ways before he loses her. The narrator reminds the guy that he comes down on her a lot. He didn’t think it made sense because she does anything he wants. He wants to know why he lies to her all the time. He lets him know he isn’t judging him. He is only helping him.

This song is a plea to men to treat their women right. If you don’t treat your women right, you may lose them to someone who will. This song is told from a man’s point of view, but women can relate to it. It was an excellent choice to have a guy warn another guy about the way he acts towards the lady in his life. This song will drive a woman crazy knowing that he is willing to defend her. The track is like a friend giving another friend relationship advice. The lyrics will make you open your eyes to your own relationship.

This is a timeless song because the meaning and words will always remain the same. This is r&b music at its finest. The music is soft and tender which goes with the theme of the song. Omarion’s vocals are superb. He sounds sentimental and heartfelt as he tells the story. The chorus is memorable and will stay in your head. There is a spoken word that could have been omitted from the song, but it doesn’t hurt it.

# 2 – Why I Love You

He is thankful that she treats him like he’s special. He tells her how much he loves her. Throughout the song, he continues to tell her how much she means to him. She reminds him about his worth when he doesn’t feel worthy of anyone. She was there for him when he was difficult. She saw the good in him. He has never had anyone like her in his life before. The narrator has a deep appreciation for the woman in his life.

This is a tribute to someone who has been there for them. If you have had someone who has stood by you through everything, this song was written for you. Everybody doesn’t have someone in their lives who would love them unconditionally the way the woman does in this song. The lyrics are universal because they could be about a friend instead of a love interest. The lyrics are romantic and give the group a chance to embrace their romantic side. Anyone would want someone like the one described in this song.

The music is captivating. The drums sell the music. It adds tempo which will allow you to move around to it. Omarion sings the song with a lot of emotion. He sings it as if there is someone out there who is holding him down. He sings the song in time with all the beat changes. The rest of the group harmonizes the chorus effortlessly. There shouldn’t have been much of a surprise that this song was our pick for number one. The song has a catchy beat and a fun melody. It is a song about playful flirting. This song isn’t different from their other songs about dancing and flirting. It is what you would expect from the group. This type of song is their go-to theme. The group sticks with what works because it if isn’t broken, you shouldn’t fix it. This time around, they have the P Diddy Badboy sound. This sounds like a song 112 would have recorded.

The music is incredible. As soon as you hear the first note, you will be hooked to the song. B2K and P Diddy worked well together on this track. They made magic happen with this electrifying song. This is one of B2K’s signature songs and we can see why. Everything about this song works. It’s no wonder this song was a number one hit for the group.
