Our Top Ten Breaking Benjamin Songs list takes a look at a very heavy and melodic modern rock band that broke into the scene in the early 2000s. The group hails from the city of Wilkes-Barre located in the State of  Pennsylvania, Breaking Benjamin have released six studio albums so far in their twenty year career. They have also released twenty three singes with many of them going platinum and gold in sales making the group one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the past twenty years.

# 10 – Polyamorous

We open up our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list with Breaking Benjamin’s first single release of their career entitled “Polyamorous.” This one starts out really heavy with a riff that is completely captivating. They always reminded me a bit of Evanescence or Filter or All That Remains with just a touch of Linkin Park. The song was released on the album entitled Saturate. The album was released in 2002.  The song broke onto the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to number thirty one. It would also become their first top 20 hit as it reached the number nineteen spot on the  US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts.

# 9 – Sooner or Later

Continuing with our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list we take a listen to the great song entitled “Sooner Or Later.” This one opens up with such an amazing guitar riff and then settles into a calm just before the song blows up all over the place. This is just really exciting music. There is a bit of a Creed feel to this one on the chorus. The song was released on the album entitled We Are Not Alone. The album was released in 2004. It was the second single released from the album. The song just made it into the  US Billboard Hot 100 creeping in at number 99. The song also was a much bigger hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to number seven.However, it was in the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts where it di extremely well just missing the number spot peaking at number two.

# 8 – Red Cold River

In the number eight spot our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list we present the song entitled “Red Cold River” This is a very cool and dark song that stands as just a great artistic rock and roll piece of music. The song was released on the album entitled Ember. The album was released in 2018. It was the first single released from the album. On The US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts the song peaked at number two because fans loved this one.

# 7 – Ashes of Eden

In the number seven position on our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list is the song entitled “Ashes of Eden.” The song was released on the album entitled Dark Before Dawn. The album was released in 2015. It was the third and final single released from the album. The song reached the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts hitting number eighteen. “Ashes of Eden” was the third Gold selling single from the bands very successful album Dark Before Dawn.

# 6 – Angels Fall

Landing in the number six spot our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list we present the song “Angels Fall.” The song was released on the album entitled Dark Before Dawn. The album was released in 2015. “Angels Fall,” was the second single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts peaking at number thirty nine. On The US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts “Angels Fall,” became a number one single for the band Breaking Benjamin.

# 5 – Dear Agony (featuring Lacey Sturm)

At the halfway point on our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list is the band’s most recent song to make this list entitled “Dear Agony.” The song was issued on the album entitled Aurora. The album was released in 2020. The song also featured the stunning vocals of Lacey Sturm. It was the second single released from the album. The song was a top 20 hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to number thirteen.

# 4 – Failure

At the number four spot on our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list we present the song “Failure.” The song was released on the album entitled Dark Before Dawn. The album was released in 2016. It was the first single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number eighty. The song also was a hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to number twenty eight. On The US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts the song went all the way to number one.

# 3 – So Cold

Moving along on our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list we take a listen to the very cool song titled “So Cold.” The song was released on the album entitled We Are Not Alone. The album was released in 2004.  It was the first single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number seventy six. The song also was a hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to number three. The songs also did well on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts hitting number two. In Canada the song hit number 16 on the Canadian Rock Charts. The song also went double platinum in sales.

# 2 – I Will Not Bow

As we start to get to a close on our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list we celebrate the song “I Will Not Bow.” The song was released on the album entitled Dear Agony. The album was released in 2009. It was the first single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number forty.  The song also was a hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to number five. The song was a huge number one single on both The US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts and the US Billboard Rock charts. In Canada, on the Canadian Rock charts the song hit number thirty seven.

# 1 – The Diary of Jane

We close out our top 10 Breaking Benjamin songs list with the band’s most popular song entitled “The Diary of Jane.” The song was released on the album entitled Phobia. The album was released in 2006. It was the first single released from the album. The song was a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number fifty. The song also was a hit on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay charts reaching all the way up to four. The song also charted on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts peaking all the way up to number two. In Canada the song hit number fifteen. The song “The Diary of Jane.”  would also become the band’s biggest selling song of their career as it went 4 time platinum in sales.
