At the number four spot on our top 10 Charli XCX songs list we present the song “Nuclear Seasons.” This killer tune has a very heavy early 1980s vibe happening through the entire song from the song’s melody to 80s sounding arrangement and its fuzzy recording style. It’s a very cool track that was one of her great early releases. The song was released on the EP entitled You’re the One. The EP was released in 2012.

However, the song had much more success on the Billboard Mainstream Charts where it hit number one. “Boom Clap.” also appeared on the soundtrack to the motion picture The Fault in Our Stars. This was Charli XCX first big time hit single and the first time she appeared on the Billboard Hot 100. The songs was a also a top 10 hit around the world turning Charli XCX onto a major pop star.
