When it comes to unforgettable music, Tegan and Sara share a special spot on the list. The twin sister duo first began to write their own songs and play the guitar at the young age of just fifteen. Green Day, Nirvana, and Hole, were some of their earliest influences and inspirations. They even used their school’s recording studio to create their first two albums, one of which won them the top spot in the “Garage Wars” music competition. Their first big-time show was in 1998, opening for Hayden. They reached mainstream success in 2007, and currently have nine studio albums out. Their unique Indie pop sound has definitely left its mark in the music world! Without further ado, here are the duo’s 10 best songs!

Its lyrics are about knowing how you feel about a person, but not exactly knowing how they feel about you or what they might be thinking. It captures the anxiety of falling in love and the trepidation that comes with it all. It’s a spectacular song that deserves the number 1 spot on this list!
