In an interview with Billboard magazine in 2017, Josh Kiszka had stated that he never meant to sound like Robert Plant. In fact he added that he had never even heard of Robert Plant until he was in high school. Yeah, okay and we are moving our classic rock offices to some real fine cheap office space on planet Mars.

If your not a hardcore fan of the band Greta Van Fleet you are probably don’t know that Josh Kiszka’s brothers Jake and Sam Kiszka are both members of the band along with Josh. Jake plays guitar and Sam plays bass. It may not be the Partridge Family but its close.

Josh Kiszka once sang a duet with Elton John on stage at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Party. On the night of March 4, 2018, Josh Kiszka and Greta Van Fleet performed with Elton John on the piano. The two sang the song You’re The One and a rocking “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.” It’s actually a great rocking performance as the two great rock acts jelled real well together. It has been reported that the lead singer of Greta Van Fleet does not eat meats or dairy products making him a full fledged Vegan. However those very careful eating habits are ruined by the fact that man is a smoker. What would Robert Plant say about that?

After Josh Kiszka and his band Greta Van Fleet performed on television on the legendary Saturday Night Live television show in 2019, sales of the band’s catalog went through the roof. Josh Kiszka’s animated performance in the song “You’re The One,” helped the songs go viral and made him more popular than ever especially on the Tik Tok app.

At the tender young age of 22, Josh Kiszka won a Grammy Award that he shares with his brothers Jake and Sam Kiszka along with drummer Danny Wagner. The four young musicians won the Grammy Awards for Rock Album Of The Years in the 2018 Grammy Awards. The band was also nominated for four other awards including Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. They only won for the Rock Album Of The Year category.
