Our Björk Albums Ranked And Complete Discography looks back at the legendary catalog of albums released by the multi talented musical artist known as Bjork. Since her arrival on the music scene first as a member of The Sugarcubes and then onto a spectacular solo career, Bjork remains one of the most innovative musical artists of the past forty years. Bjork was born in the capital city of Iceland known as Reykjavík. She was the daughter of a musician who helped her early on in her career when she released her first album at the young age of only eleven years old.
In 1988, Bjork released her first album with the band The Sugarcubes entitled Life’s Too Good. The group would release two more albums. In 1989 they released their second album called Here Today, Tomorrow Next Week!. In 1992, the Sugarcubes released their final studio albums titled Stick Around for Joy. Two years after the release of the final Sugarcubes album Bjork would release her first solo album of her adult musical career titled Debut. The album was an enormous critical success and launched the career of what would become one of the most musically daring artists of the next thirty plus years.

However, this album was recorded when Björk was only eleven years old. As her body of work is based on her incredible identity as a groundbreaking creative musical artist, this album is pretty much just a showcase for a gifted singer who at 11 years old was not yet ready to be an artist.

In the number seven position on our Björk Albums Ranked list is the album entitled Utopia. The album was released in 2017. Utopia stands as Björk’s most recent release on our Björk Albums list. The Utopia album did not rank that high in the U.S. but it did break into the top 100 as it hit number seventy five on the US Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. The Utopia album also broke onto the Switzerland Top 20 on their album Charts peaking at number twelve. Utopia appeared on the United Kingdom Official Albums Charts reaching the number position. Landing in the number six spot on our Björk Albums Ranked List we present the album entitled Vulnicura. The album was released 2015. Vulnicura would become Björk’s first number one album in Iceland in over ten years since the release of her album Medúlla which hit number one in Iceland in 2004. The Vulnicura album hit number twenty on the US Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. Vulnicura also appeared on the United Kingdom Official Albums Charts reaching the number eleven position. Vulnicura would also become a top 10 album in Norway and Switzerland.

The Post album broke into the top 10 charts in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland and of course her native home of Iceland.
