Rascal Flatts was formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 1999. The band initially consisted of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney. Known for their harmonious melodies and crossover appeal, Rascal Flatts has been a prominent figure in modern country music, merging pop and country influences that broadened their fan base significantly. Over their career, they released multiple albums and achieved significant commercial success, including several multi-platinum records. Rascal Flatts has charted over 30 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including 14 number ones. The band’s 2004 album Feels Like Today and 2006’s Me and My Gang were particularly successful, with the latter being their best-selling album. They have received numerous awards, including CMA and ACM awards, and were lauded for their contributions to country music before announcing their farewell tour in 2020, which was subsequently delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gary LeVox

His ability to convey emotion through his vocals has resonated deeply with fans, making tracks like “Bless the Broken Road” and “What Hurts the Most” standout hits. Outside of Rascal Flatts, Gary has explored other musical projects and collaborations, further establishing his credentials in the music industry.

Before forming Rascal Flatts, DeMarcus was part of a Christian music group called East to West and later worked in Nashville as a producer and musician, which helped hone his skills that he brought to the band. Beyond his work with Rascal Flatts, Jay has produced albums for other artists in Nashville, showcasing his wide-ranging musical talents.
