Brandon Flowers
Brandon Flowers was born on June 21, 1981, He is the co-founder, lead vocalist, and keyboardist of The Killers, formed with Dave Keuning in 2001 in Las Vegas. Flowers has been instrumental in shaping the band’s distinctive sound, characterized by a blend of alternative rock, post-punk, and new wave influences. As the main lyricist and a key composer for the band, Flowers has penned many of their hit songs, including “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me.” His dynamic stage presence and vocal style have significantly contributed to The Killers’ international success, with the band selling over 22 million records globally.
In addition to his achievements with The Killers, Flowers has ventured into solo projects, releasing albums “Flamingo” in 2010 and “The Desired Effect” in 2015. Both albums have achieved critical and commercial success, with “Flamingo” reaching the number one spot on the UK Albums Chart.. Notably, his work as a solo artist has led to ten number-one albums on the UK Albums Chart, including his work with The Killers.

Dave Keuning
Dave Keuning was born in Pella, Iowa on March 28, 1976. He is a co-founder of the rock band The Killers. Along with Brandon Flowers, Keuning formed The Killers in 2001 after the two met through a newspaper ad Keuning had placed seeking fellow musicians. As the band’s lead guitarist, Keuning has been integral in shaping their sound. He is known for his catchy riffs and melodies, particularly evident in songs like “Mr. Brightside” and “When You Were Young.”
Keuning played on all The Killers’ albums from their 2004 debut “Hot Fuss” to “Wonderful Wonderful” in 2017. His guitar work has been a defining element of the band’s music, contributing to their signature blend of alternative rock, post-punk, and new wave sounds. Despite his critical role in the band, Keuning announced in 2017 that he would be taking a hiatus from touring to spend more time with his family, though he remained a member of the band.
In addition to his work with The Killers, Keuning has embarked on a solo career. In 2019, he released an album titled “Prismism” under the name Keuning. The album showcases his songwriting and multi-instrumental talents, expanding beyond his work with The Killers and exploring a variety of musical styles. “Prismism” was born out of Keuning’s home studio, where he wrote and recorded the majority of the music himself, reflecting a deeply personal and experimental approach to his craft.
Ronnie Vannucci Jr.
Ronnie Vannucci Jr. was born on February 15, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada; he is the drummer for The Killers. Joining the band in 2002, Vannucci’s energetic and powerful drumming style has been pivotal in shaping the band’s sound. Before joining The Killers, he played with various local bands in Las Vegas and studied classical percussion at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Vannucci has played on all of The Killers’ studio albums, from their debut “Hot Fuss” (2004) to their most recent works. His drumming is particularly notable for its driving beats and inventive rhythms that contribute significantly to the band’s signature sound. Songs like “All These Things That I’ve Done” and “When You Were Young” feature his dynamic and robust drumming.
Outside of his work with The Killers, Vannucci has engaged in other musical endeavors. In 2011, he released an album titled “Big Talk” under the band of the same name, serving as the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. The project allowed him to explore different aspects of his musicality, stepping out from behind the drums to take on a more front-facing role in the creative process. “Big Talk” received attention for its distinct sound, which diverges from The Killers’ music while still maintaining a strong sense of melody and songcraft.
Mark Stoermer
Mark August Stoermer was born in Houston, Texas on June 28, 1977. He is the bassist for the rock band The Killers. Stoermer joined The Killers in 2002, shortly before the band rose to international fame with their debut album “Hot Fuss” in 2004. As the bassist, Stoermer’s rhythmic and melodic playing has been a key component of the band’s sound, underpinning their blend of alternative rock, post-punk, and new wave influences with a solid and often inventive bass foundation.
Throughout his tenure with The Killers, Stoermer has contributed to all their albums and has been part of their global success, playing in sold-out tours and at major festivals around the world. His bass lines in songs such as “Jenny Was a Friend of Mine” and “Read My Mind” showcase his ability to complement the band’s dynamic range and contribute to their distinct sound. In addition to his bass playing, Stoermer has also occasionally contributed as a rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the band.
In addition to his work with The Killers, Stoermer has pursued his own musical projects. He released a solo album, “Another Life,” in 2011, followed by “Dark Arts” in 2016. Dell Neal was the original bassist and a founding member of The Killers. He played with the band in its early days before leaving in 2002, prior to their rise to international fame. Matt Norcross
Matt Norcross was an early drummer for The Killers, participating in the band’s initial lineup. His time with the band was short-lived, and he left before the band recorded their debut album. Despite his brief tenure, Norcross was part of the band’s formative years, contributing to their early sound and development.
