# 5 – Saudades de Rock

Released August 12, 2008

We open up our Extreme Ranked albums list with the bands final album as of this writing entitled Saudades de Rock. It had been thirteen years since the band had released a studio album. The album featured Gary Cherone on lead vocals, Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Pat Badger on bass guitar and Kevin Figueiredo on drums. It would be the first Extreme album to feature Kevin Figueiredo. The album hit number seventy eight on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts.

In the number three spot our Extreme Ranked albums list is the album entitled Waiting for the Punchline. The band’s fourth album featured Gary Cherone on lead vocals, Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Pat Badger on bass guitar and Paul Geary on drums. The album hit number forty on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. It broke into the Top 10 in the United Kingdom. This was a really good album and probably stands as the band’s most underrated record.

In the number two spot our Extreme Ranked albums list is the follow up album to their breakthrough record Pornograffitti  entitled II Sides to Every Story. The band’s third album featured Gary Cherone on lead vocals, Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Pat Badger on bass guitar and Paul Geary on drums. The album was just as successful on the charts as Pornograffitti as it also  hit number ten on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. However it did much better in the UK where it went all the way to number two.

We close out our Extreme Ranked albums list with album that turned the group into a household name called Pornograffitti. That success was fueled by the monster hit single from the album titled “More Than You Know.” The band’s album featured Gary Cherone on lead vocals, Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Pat Badger on bass guitar and Paul Geary on drums. The album hit number ten on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. The single “More Than Words” hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
