Sammy Hagar and the boys are back. The Red Rocker seems to never age as he has returned once again with a brand new single entitled “Crazy Times.” But wait……there’s so much more. It’s not just a single release. Sammy Hagar & The Circle are just whetting our appetites as the single ” Crazy Times will also appear on a brand new Sammy Hagar & The Circle album also entitled Crazy Times.

The group has released the song on youtube and on their websites. We have it for you below to take a listen to. As you can easily see the band Sammy Hagar & The Circle consists of Sammy Hagar on lead vocals and guitar, his ex-Van Halen and Chickenfoot bandmate Michael Anthony on bass, the great Jason Bonham on drums and Vic Johnson on lead guitar.

This great new track is fueled of course by Sammy Hagar’s legendary lead vocals that sound as great as ever. Additionally, Michale Anthony tales an even bigger role as backup vocalist as his iconic high-pitched vocals sound is brought down an octave while his “ahhs” through the entire song give off a really cool 6os psychedelic vibe. Jason Bonham adds some killer snare drum work in Led Zeppelin fashion as the very underrated Vic Johnson delivers a terrific hard-edge guitar solo. The band sounds so tight and just yearning to get back on the road.

The group’s new album was produced by Dave Cobb who had never worked with Sammy Hagar before. Dave Cobb is a Nashville producer so it may be interesting to hear what the album has in store for Sammy Hagar fans. We can’t wait to hear the band’s cover version of the Elvis Costello classic song “Pump It Up.” Yeah baby! this one is going to be good.

Crazy Times Tracklist:
