Our top 10 Royal Blood songs list takes a look at an English rock and roll band that created a superpower house sound fueled by only two musicians. In similar fashion to what the White Stripes did and also the great band Japandroids, Royal Blood consists of a drummer and a bass player. However, this particular bassist named Mike Kerr creates the sound of both a bass and guitar through the use of special effects pedals and his talents as a musician. Together with drummer Ben Thatcher, Royal Blood has released some of the most exciting rock and roll music of the past ten years. With only three albums released it might seem too early to be doing at top 10 Royal Blood songs list, but nonetheless that’s one of the reasons we do these lists. It is to turn people onto some bands they might not know much about and help those groups develop and even bigger following in keeping rock and roll music alive, well and flourishing. Royal Blood is definitely a band worth checking out.

The band Royal Blood first formed in Brighton England in 2011. The original group consisted of Mike Kerr on bass, Matt Swan on drums and Joe Dennis on guitar. Eventually, the group just came down to Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher. The duo released their first single entitled “Out Of The Black,” in October of 2013. The song was a huge hit in the UK where it broke into the UK Rock and Metal Singles charts top 30. The group then released their second single entitled “Little Monster,” at the beginning of 2014. Both of these songs created a huge buzz in the rock and roll business especially on the Eastern side of the Atlantic. A little more than six months after their second single was released Royal Blood released their debut album in the summer of 2014 entitled Royal Blood. The album was a stunning success in the UK.

Royal Blood released five singles from their debut album over a long period of time. Three years later, the band released their second album entitled How Did We Get So Dark? The album was released in the spring of 2017. Their sophomore album was an even bigger success than their first album in the United Kingdom. On a scale of what only bands like the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac did, the group celebrated 10 songs from the album breaking into the top 20 of the United Kingdom Rock and metal single charts. That is a phenomenal success story for an album.

Royal Blood definitely took time in between their records. It would be another four years before they released their third studio album. However at the start of 2021 and still in the middle of the most horrific pandemic this world has ever seen, Royal Blood released date third studio album entitled Typhoons.
