Taylor Dayne turned a lot of heads in the late 1980s with the release of her debut hit single “Tell It To My Heart.” There was a fire to the song along with a freshness that had not been heard in dance music since the days of Donna Summer. And just like Donna Summer’s music there was a pop sensibility to the song that made it become a huge crossover hit.
