Asking Alexandria was formed across the Atlantic in York, North Yorkshire, in 2006. Initially known for their heavy blend of metalcore and electronic elements, the band has evolved over time, embracing a more diverse rock sound. Asking Alexandria has released multiple albums, gaining significant attention with Stand Up and Scream (2009), Reckless & Relentless (2011), and From Death to Destiny (2013), among others. Their music has charted successfully in the United States and the UK, with several singles breaking into notable music charts. Danny Worsnop
Danny Worsnop is the original lead vocalist of Asking Alexandria, joining the band in 2008. He contributed significantly to their early work, including their debut album Stand Up and Scream and subsequent albums Reckless & Relentless and From Death to Destiny. Worsnop’s powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence were key to the band’s early success. He left the band in 2015 to focus on his other musical project, We Are Harlot, and his solo career, which explores hard rock and country music. Worsnop returned to Asking Alexandria in 2016 and has since been involved in their later albums, including the self-titled Asking Alexandria (2017) and Like a House on Fire (2020).
Ben Bruce
Ben Bruce, the lead guitarist and backing vocalist, is one of the founding members of Asking Alexandria. He has been with the band since its inception in 2006 and is a primary songwriter and creative force behind their music. Bruce played a significant role in all of the band’s albums and is known for his melodic guitar playing and songwriting skills. Outside of Asking Alexandria, Ben Bruce has participated in various musical projects and has acted in the film American Satan.
Cameron Liddell
Cameron Liddell joined Asking Alexandria as the rhythm guitarist shortly after the band’s formation. He has played on all the band’s albums, contributing to the group’s evolving sound. Sam Bettley

Denis Stoff
Denis Stoff was the lead vocalist of Asking Alexandria from early 2015 to October 2016. He joined the band following Worsnop’s initial departure and recorded one album with them, The Black (2016). Stoff’s tenure with the band was brief but marked by a continuation of their success, with The Black being well-received critically and commercially. After his departure, Stoff resumed his career with his original band, Make Me Famous, and later formed the band Shaping the Legacy.
Joe Lancaster
Joe Lancaster was the original bassist for Asking Alexandria before their debut album. He was part of the band’s early lineup in 2008 but left before they achieved mainstream success. After his time with Asking Alexandria, Lancaster continued his music career with other bands in the UK’s metalcore scene.
James Murray
James Murray was an early bassist for Asking Alexandria. He was part of the lineup before the band recorded their debut album Stand Up and Scream. His tenure with the band was brief, and he left before they rose to major prominence.
Robin Everett
