A friendship forged at summer camp evolved into Caamp, a folk band that emerged from Upper Arlington, Ohio with Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall as its founding members. The duo met as middle school students at summer camp and graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 2012. Caamp has released four studio albums: the self-titled Caamp in 2016 on Square Roots Records, By and By in 2019 under Mom + Pop Music, Lavender Days in 2022, and Everything Must Go in 2025. The band also released a six-song EP in 2018. Caamp expanded from a duo to a five-piece band with the addition of bassist Matt Vinson, keyboardist Joseph Kavalec, and drummer Nicholas Falk.
