OneRepublic originated in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2002. The band was formed by lead vocalist Ryan Tedder and guitarist Zach Filkins. They gained mainstream success on the MySpace platform and were signed by Columbia Records. However, they did not release an album until they moved to Mosley Music Group, a label operated by producer Timbaland. Their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud (2007), included the hit single “Apologize,” which bolstered their fame with a remix by Timbaland. This track became a massive hit worldwide. Over the years, OneRepublic has released several albums, including Waking Up (2009), Native (2013), which included hits like “Counting Stars,” and Oh My My (2016). Their music has achieved significant chart success across various countries and has received numerous awards and nominations.
Ryan Tedder
Ryan Tedder is the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for OneRepublic, and he has been with the band since its formation in 2002. Tedder is known for his wide vocal range and prolific songwriting skills, contributing to all of OneRepublic’s albums. His work with the band includes hits like “Apologize,” “Stop and Stare,” “All the Right Moves,” and “Counting Stars.” In addition to his work with OneRepublic, Tedder is an acclaimed songwriter and producer, having worked with a plethora of artists across various genres including Beyoncé, Adele, and Ed Sheeran. Zach Filkins
Zach Filkins is a founding member of OneRepublic, playing lead guitar and providing backing vocals. Filkins met Tedder in high school, and together they started what would eventually become OneRepublic. He has played on all the band’s albums and is known for his classical guitar influences, which have shaped the band’s sound. Outside of OneRepublic, Filkins has explored various musical projects and styles, contributing to the richness of the band’s music.
Eddie Fisher
Eddie Fisher joined OneRepublic as the drummer in 2005, prior to the recording of their debut album Dreaming Out Loud. His drumming is featured prominently across all their albums, contributing significantly to the band’s dynamic sound. Fisher’s energetic drumming style has been a cornerstone of OneRepublic’s live performances and studio recordings.
Brent Kutzle
Brent Kutzle joined OneRepublic in 2007 as the bassist and cellist. He has played a crucial role in the band since the album Dreaming Out Loud, and his string arrangements and bass playing are key components of OneRepublic’s sound. Kutzle has also co-written several of the band’s songs, including tracks on the Native and Oh My My albums. His ability to blend classical elements with pop-rock has helped define the band’s unique sound. Outside of OneRepublic, Kutzle has worked on various musical projects and film scores.
Drew Brown
Drew Brown has been a member of OneRepublic since 2002, serving as one of the band’s guitarists. He has contributed to all their albums and is involved in the songwriting and production processes. Brown’s guitar work and backing vocals add depth and harmony to the band’s music. He has also been involved in other music production projects outside of OneRepublic.
Jerrod Bettis
Jerrod Bettis was the original drummer for OneRepublic but left the band after the recording of their debut album Dreaming Out Loud. During his time with the band, Bettis contributed to their early sound and development. After leaving OneRepublic, Bettis pursued other musical opportunities, including session work and songwriting for other artists.
Tim Myers
Tim Myers was the original bassist for OneRepublic until 2007. He played on some of the tracks for Dreaming Out Loud and was involved in the band’s initial rise to fame. After leaving OneRepublic, Myers embarked on a solo career and has been successful as a songwriter and music producer, contributing to various film and television soundtracks.

Brian Willett
Brian Willett joined OneRepublic as a keyboardist and percussionist around 2011. He has been involved with the band primarily during live performances, enhancing their sound with his keyboard and percussion skills. Willett’s contributions can be heard during live renditions of the band’s songs from albums like Native and Oh My My. His role in the band adds depth to their live sound and musical arrangements. Outside of OneRepublic, Willett has also been involved in music production and other related projects.
