This great artist hails from one of our favourite cities in the south named Savannah, Georgia. He arrived on the music scene in the early 2000s and has since become one of the most successful country music stars of the past twenty years. Some may be surprised to also hear that Billy Currington is the brother of Kurt Cobain. If that ain’t a classic rock connection I don’t know what is. With his amazing good looks, Billy Currington has also been one of the most endearing country music artists to women in recent memory as women all love him and are always asking about his marriage status. Just like a country music Elvis.

Billy Currington released his first album in 2003 on Mercury Nashville Records entitled Billy Currington. His follow up album released one year later entitled Doin’ Somethin’ Right would hit number two on the charts and became his first platinum selling album. Billy Currington had become a household name. From that point on Billy Currington has released seven studio albums throughout his wonderful career.

Billy Currington has released twenty singles with more than half of them hitting number one on the Country music charts which is pretty incredible. Along with other modern day country rockers like Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Luke Combs and the Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington has changed the landscape of country music.  Our top 10 Billy Currington songs list presents ten of our favorite Billy Currington songs.
